Boni, who serves as the Marlins spokesperson for the Baseball Tomorrow Fund Equipment Drive, visited Marlins Park earlier this week to pick up gear that would be making its way to his hometown in the Dominican Republic. Emilio, with his usual smile, loaded up his truck and this offseason will be personally delivering the equipment to groups and academies that work with underserved youth.
