Happiest Kid Ever!

…was the subject of the THANK YOU email we received from our last Buck-A-Roo’s group, The Miracle League of Miami Dade. This future Miracle League player enjoyed a visit with Marlins catcher, John Buck, at a recent Marlins game. As part of the Buck-A-Roo program, John Buck hosts families living with autism and/or children in the foster care system for a Friday Marlins game.

These are the moments that make baseball so special!

“We have a soft spot in our hearts for children with autism and developmental delays. Kids living with Autism encounter daily struggles, yet they are fortunate to face them with their families. There are thousands of kids in South Florida that don’t have a family to call their own. The Buck-A-Roos program not only supports families living with developmental challenges, but also brings joy to children who are growing up in foster care. My wife Brooke and I wish that through the Buck-A-Roos program, we can provide a positive experience in the lives of all of these children and families.” – John Buck
